Principles of International Business Finance

Course aim

This course provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge of the role and impact of international business finance on management decision making, business strategy, and business conduct in the international business context. To achieve this, the course considers the financial objectives of firms, and explores areas of financial risk, capital budgeting, corporate value, investment decision making, and the operation of international financial markets.

Students completing the course develop a body of knowledge that:

• Contributes to a comprehensive application of business finance principles to recent developments in the field of international business management.
• Provides a pathway for further learning.

• The global financial environment and markets.
• Financial objectives and decision metrics for the internationally oriented business.
