To extend students' knowledge of the materials and technologies required for the construction of buildings on site.
Students will further develop knowledge of the complexity of translating design into build-form and on-site construction processes through field work and construction camps. Students will develop skills in construction techniques including footing, framing, cladding and masonry systems, assembly of lightweight building components, and service technologies including solar, wind, water supply and waste disposal.
