Course aim

To equip students with an advanced and integrated understanding of the financial principles which constitute the conceptual framework of modern finance, and the ability to apply those principles to advanced examples to achieve sound financial decisions.

Course content

Present value concepts; discounted cash flow techniques; risk; required rates of return; debt capacity; dividend policy; cash management; short term financial management; leasing; debtors management; debt valuation; equity models; dividend valuation; capital structure and cost of capital.
