Course aim

To develop among students an increasing competence in ability to use processes of mathematical thinking and working; To provide practical experience in the organisation, planning and delivery of mathematical activities in the classroom context.

Course content

Purpose and function of recording mathematical findings; scaffolding/supporting the development of students understanding of mathematical concepts and appropriate recording methods; issues of learning mathematics as a second language learner; consolidation and development of personal mathematical skills.
