Course aim

To provide students with an understanding of property market activity through the application of property research methods which use both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.

Course content

Property research methods and paradigms. The research process: planning and design, literature review, data collection, and data evaluation. Quantitative methods applied to the analysis of property market activity: parametric testing, multiple regression analysis, and time series forecasting techniques. Qualitative property research techniques. Property research reporting.
